Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Srinagar. Our representative will meet, assist and transfer you to Hotel Pacific, Srinagar. Welcome drink upon arrival, followed by free individual activities for an hour. Day reserved for local sightseeing — visit the majestic Dal Lake and enjoy a shikara ride. Cover six important points in Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel Pacific, Srinagar.

Day 2

After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg. Check out the major attractions in Gulmarg, including horse riding, Gondola cable car ride, which takes you from a height of about 8,825 feet to 13,780 feet amid verdant, steep hills, followed by skiing ( winter sport ). Back to Hotel Pacific, Srinagar for overnight stay.

Day 3

Drive to Manasbal Lake in the morning, said to be the deepest lake in the Kashmir Valley at a depth of 13 mtrs / 43 ft. Manasbal is famous for its aquatic birds and the lotuses that bloom here in the months of July and August. You can enjoy a shikara ride and take in the serene beauty of the clear, blue water and surrounding mountains. Back to Srinagar in the evening and overnight stay at Hotel Pacific.

Day 4

Today you will be transferred to ‘Meadow of Gold’ Sonamarg. Soak in the sights and sounds of Kashmiri village life on your drive there. You can hire a pony to reach the great heights of Thajiwas glacier, a major summer attraction 3 km from Sonamarg. Return in the evening and overnight stay at Hotel Pacific, Srinagar.

Day 5

After breakfast, head for Pahalgam, the ‘Valley of Shepherds’. The breathtaking beauty of Pahalgam with its streams, valleys and woods will make you feel like you are in paradise. Connect with nature in the lap of the mountains and head back for Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay at Hotel Pacific.

Day 6

Begin your day with a visit to the Shankaracharya temple, an ancient Shiva temple located on Gopadari Hill. Visit the delightful Mughal gardens in Srinagar and its vicinity including Chashma Shahi (the royal fountains), Pari Mahal (the palace of fairies), Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Harwan garden and Tulip Garden. Go shopping for Kashmiri handicrafts in the evening. Overnight stay at Hotel Pacific, Srinagar.

Day 7

Breakfast and transfer to airport. Go back home with memories of a lifetime.

What you should wear for your Kashmir trip
